About
I have the skills, talents and sensitivities to work well with people who are 18 and older. I love working with elders too! I have many years of experience in treating individuals with eating issues, body image dissatisfaction, anxiety, depression, PTSD, personal unhappiness or relationship difficulties. If you have a teen younger than 18 with an eating disorder I work best teaching parents the skills to help their kids recover from their eating disorder.
Mindfulness is the foundation of my work because it is proven to help people reduce their stress and to let go of harmful habitual patterns so they can make healthier life choices. It also improves the quality of our relationships and brings more joy and happiness to our lives!
I love my work and am always enthused by the uniqueness of each individual I meet. It is an honor to help people when they need it most in their lives. Helping people find their way to new experiences of feeling better about themselves and their lives is what I do!

SSP
The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is based on Stephen Porges’ Polyvagal Theory and his research regarding the relationship between the autonomic nervous system and auditory sensitivities, and the social emotional processes. It is a listening program especially filtered music that stimulates the vagus nerve through the middle ear muscle. Stress, trauma, and other conditions can overload our nervous system, leaving us in various states of fight/flight/freeze, which can impact how we interact with others, our environment and how we feel inside and about ourselves. The SSP is like a workout for your vagus nerve, giving your nervous system more flexibility and resilience.
