I provide brief and long-term therapy for children, adolescents, and adults struggling with loss, disability, depression, anxiety, and other life stressors; parent-child therapy for young children (toddlers, preschoolers); support for parents and siblings of children with special needs; consultation for parents with questions about school program or special education placement. As a parent of a child with a disability, I believe families deserve the opportunity to express and cope with the range of emotions and challenges that can occur when a family member has special needs.
My affiliations: Part-time Lecturer, Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School; Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) Fellow, UMass Medical School/Shriver Center; Consultant at Federation for Children with Special Needs. I was a mental health consultant to Early Intervention and Head Start for 10 years.
