Because of my professional experiences as an educator, administrator, and mental health counselor; I have a broad perspective appropriate for children, adolescents, adults, and couples encountering transitions and life challenges. As a certified trauma therapist, therapy sessions are client-centered, meaning that the needs of the client are first priority and my goal is to provide guidance and support for my clients to be able to address their specific needs in a safe and comfortable environment to experience growth in their personal life and mental health healing.
My role is to help my clients develop the will and skills to understand and develop the motivation for positive change and create opportunity for renewal in life situations. Your life is always moving in the direction of your strongest thoughts. Cognitive therapy is a powerful technique for changing your thinking that determines your quality of life.
I understand how busy life gets. I offer sessions during evening hours to accommodate after school and work schedules for adults, youth, and children.
