I am a dedicated professional, who is willing to work with children, adolescence and adults with emotional problems and substance abuse, by utilizing positive interventions designed to address the needs of the individual that will promote a successful adjustment to life.
Therapeutic issues addressed in my practice includes, but are not limited to, substance abuse, addictions, anxiety, panic disorder, depression, bereavement and loss, life crises & transitions, obsessive compulsive disorder, anger management and Post traumatic stress disorders. My practice style is family system, cognitive behavioral therapy and person centered therapy.
I have experience working with Mental Health Agencies, as well, as Dade County Public school System, providing counselling for children with Severe Emotional Disabilities,and other behavioral disorders in the Middle and High school Department. In addition I provided service as a Drug Treatment Counselor with the Broward Sheriff Department.
My practice is easily accessible and is centrally located in a Professional Plaza. Clients are seen by scheduled appointments, within three to five business days.
