Hi there! We don't know what we don't know. I take a trauma-informed approach to addressing clients' thoughts, behaviors, and emotions that keep them stuck. I specialize in treating individuals starting at the age of 16 into adulthood with Trauma, PTSD, BPD, Anxiety, Depression, Anger, Physical, Emotional, and or Sexual Abuse. I am trained in evidence-based therapies: Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) & Humanistic therapy. As your therapist, it is my job to create a warm, safe, and non-judgmental atmosphere.
It's great that there is no one-size-fits-all therapy. You are the expert on your life, and therapy is your tool to help bring about the changes you want to see. Sometimes, we get stuck in our thoughts, behaviors, or unwanted patterns. Change can be difficult but essential. I have a Christian worldview that emphasizes compassion and service to others.
