I am a seasoned clinical social worker who has extensive experience in treating depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and trauma(PTSD). Based on the unique needs of the client, I use several modalities such as psychodynamic/psychoanalytic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT Skills and EMDR to help foster change and insight, ameliorate emotional pain as well as promote internal growth. I am a warm, kind, and empathetic person who is interested in the client as a whole.
I am a graduate of the Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy. Additionally I am trained in EMDR (trauma/PTSD) as well as DBT Skills (for emotional dysregulation).
A colleague and I run a weekly DBT Skills group, an evidence based treatment, that teaches individuals how to effectively cope with intense emotions and live a life more worth living.

DBT Skills group meets every Tuesday at 7 p.m. A person must be in individual therapy in order to part of this group. There is an initial consultation to assess appropriateness.
