I am a licensed and board certified creative arts therapist with a master’s degree from Pratt Institute. I integrate a trauma-informed care practice with humanistic, client-centered, and psychodynamic approaches. I believe in the strength of creative problem solving and coping skills to assist clients in reaching their goals through the healing process. I have worked with a wide range of populations and settings including: outpatient clinics with adults, respite programs with adults with developmental disabilities, school settings, and community-based programs with children and adolescents.
With a strong background in multi-media arts, my expertise lies in utilizing expressive arts therapy that combine creative arts therapy, psychosomatic therapy, and the therapeutic properties of: dance and movement, photography, music, in addition to environmental art and play therapies.
Our practice is In Network with Cigna (All Plans) and Healthfirst Commercial & Medicaid plans. I am also considered an Out of Network provider for a number of insurances such as: UHC, BC/BS & Aetna. As a courtesy our billing team is happy to assist clients with billing OON claims directly to your insurance carrier in order to utilize your benefits.
