Announcement icon Due to Covid-19 if live sessions are held, clients wear facial masks, and adhere to social distancing. Zoom and teletherapy are available.
For over 30 years Dr. Kathy works with individuals, families, teens and couples impacted by trauma, addiction, legal issues, and random life circumstances. In live or zoom sessions, she utilizes cognitive behavioral and alternative (mindful) therapies to restore balance and support you on your life journey. As a licensed psychotherapist, certified EMDR, addiction, yoga, and Gottman (Level 3) trained therapist, and creator of the Fun(TM) program, Dr. Kathy unpacks tools to design a plan of action targeted to relieve suffering. She also assists families with the Marchman Act or conducts interventions when loved ones refuse help.
Dr. Kathy offers individual, family and group psychotherapy. There are woman's psychotherapy groups, and a group for men and women working a recovery program from addictive behaviors (alcohol, drugs, gambling, codependency, and disordered eating). Relationship therapy is provided for addressing betrayal, trauma, addiction, and communication issues.
Psychotherapy is the confidential place to talk about and express shame, regret, regret about the past, anxiety about the future, and issues that seem to "keep happening". In session you have the opportunity to consider how your past may be influencing the present ...no judgment about it. Here shift happens. Stress management workshops for are offered.

Limitless Potentials's Groups

Women Psychotherapy & Recovery Groups

Psychotherapy groups are led monthly by Dr. Kathy to help women and men in addiction recovery share and connect with one another about their lives in a private, and confidential setting. Issues discussed include parenting, relationships, trauma, life threatening illness, loss of a loved one, disordered eating, substance use as a coping mechanism, codependency, and generational family dysfunction. Group members learn how to conduct self inquiry, recognize being vulnerable and genuine, and how to minimize emotional stress.

Recovery Group

Psychotherapy group led by Dr. Kathy monthly for men and women impacted by the addictions (drugs, alcohol, eating disorders, codependency, gambling, internet, shopping, hoarding). This private and confidential group is a place to discuss how to remain on the path of recovering. Some members belong to 12 step programs out side of the group, but it is not required. This is a place to learn what role the addiction plays in their live and how to practice new skills when triggered to use.
