As your therapist, I will provide you a space of safety and acceptance where you can reconnect with your power and tenderness. I am especially passionate about supporting people experiencing reproductive mental health challenges and have advanced training in this area. Focus issues include: perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, birth trauma/processing/integration, termination, menstrually related mood disorders. I also enjoy working with adults who are seeking to work through self-esteem, perfectionism, people-pleasing, attachment, or identity and emerging adulthood concerns.
My approach is eclectic, insight-oriented, and rooted in compassion-focused and trauma-informed care. The modalities I tend to draw on include acceptance and commitment and mindfulness-based cognitive therapies. I am committed to LGBTQIA+ affirming care, harm reduction, and anti-oppressive practice.
I come into the therapy room with my own lived experiences and use these gathered learnings to cultivate a therapeutic environment that is warm with empathy and appreciation for the courage that growth requires.
