Welcome to Lily of the Valley Counseling and Coaching Services LLC. My name is Sheri Hamilton and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Oregon. I provide culturally specific services to the African American and the BIPOC community. I specialize in women's issues, anxiety, depression and relationship challenges. I am also a Certified Transitional Life Coach that can support your needs such as divorce recovery, self-esteem issues, healthy boundary setting, and purpose coaching for clients seeking coaching only. I approach counseling in a collaborative manner, utilizing an integrative theoretical orientation, and coming together to discover the changes and goals needed to reach the quality of living and functioning that you desire and hope for. I view people in a holistic manner, taking into account their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs.
As an African American female therapist I also understand the effects of systemic racism that contributes to systemic trauma, and the impact it has caused in the African American and the BIPOC community. I will work with you in a safe and non-judgmental environment where you can express yourself freely.
