Hi, I'm Lily! I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC). My specialized interests in psychotherapy and clinical counseling include PTSD, Anxiety Disorders, Panic Disorder, cognitive development, and the psychology of pain. I approach mental wellness through an Integrative Model founded upon CBT/DBT/ACT, Polyvagal neuroscience, Psychodynamic Therapy, and humanism. I focus on Whole Person Health towards empowerment and self-actualization utilizing comprehensive modalities like mindfulness, meditation, and expressive arts.
I am certified in CBT and DBT. I trained in ACT with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy creator Stephen C. Hayes PhD; Gottman Method Couples and Family Therapy with Dr. John and Julie Gottman’s Gottman Institute; I will begin Traumatic Stress Studies training with Dr. Bessel van der Kolk, and offer certified EMDR Therapy.
I attended Columbia University, and JFK School of Psychology/Social Sciences at National University. I have a MA in Counseling Psychology, and a BA in Psychology.
I have volunteered with Hoag Hospital Newport Beach and Habitat for Humanity. I reside in CA and enjoy the beach, reading, gardening, and cooking.
