Hello! I currently practice telehealth therapy for DC, MD, IL and SC. As an EMDR Certified Therapist and EMDR Approved Consultant, I understand our struggles are not about "what's wrong with us" but "what happened to us." Looking to resolve current symptoms sometimes means healing from the past, while strengthening resources in the present and preparing for the future. Brain research shows many symptoms we experience are often the result of our brains' efforts to adapt to past experiences which may have been too much to process at the time. Research also confirms that we can heal from our symptoms through trauma therapy. Conjointly with PTSD/C-PTSD, my specialty areas include dissociative disorders and mood disorders.
