My clients are often teens or adults who are anxious or skeptical to begin therapy but ready and driven to make a change. Sometimes my clients understand the root cause of the behavior, know what is needing change and (like all of us) struggle with breaking these patterns. Our minds and bodies are usually trying their hardest to protect us, but sometimes in doing so they are blocking us from being our ideal selves.
I walk alongside clients as we figure out how to make lasting, effective change that allows them to move through the world feeling more aligned with themselves. I believe that enduring change comes through empowerment, autonomy and the mutual understanding that this life is so hard and there is no right or wrong way of doing it.
