Thank you for considering me as your therapist! I am very interactive, utilize humor, my own experience, and a lot of mindfulness in my approach. I am trained in yoga and other meditation techniques, and often integrate that background into the therapeutic process. I believe that you are the expert of yourself, and my role is to accompany you in recognizing and owning that. I will help you not only understand why you are suffering, but also learn tools from many different traditions for dealing with life's challenges. I specialize in helping motivated people navigate the challenging changes in life.
I often use breath work to relieve anxiety and depression. Learning to observe your reactions, acknowledge your feelings, and then accept them is a key to dealing with difficult emotions without becoming lost in them. Learn new tools and let go of the ones that no longer serve you!
If you aren't sure what you want or need, I am open to having a short conversation to see if we might be a good fit. Take good care, Lillian
