Hi there, I'm Lillian! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Washington, DC, and working with adults district-wide via Telehealth. I am a Christian counselor who strives to provide holistic, evidence-based, compassion-fueled, client-centered care. My specialties range from mood and psychotic mental health disorders to PTSD, grief, and stress management. My approach to therapy adapts to the client I am working with and is tailored to the client’s expressed goals and concerns. My number one goal as a therapist is to provide a safe and non-judgmental environment where the client can trust me as their therapist with the privilege of hearing their story, as this will allow us to collaborate effectively.
My communication style is assertive, accommodating, and down-to-earth. I prioritize clear and open communication between myself and clients. I often share educational handouts in order to illustrate information relevant to what is discussed during sessions and answer client questions regarding grounding/coping techniques, effective communication skills, etc.
