As a licensed therapist, I believe in the power of cultivating a strong therapist-client relationship and safe space for expression. By utilizing a strengths based, humanistic and client centered approach, I feel that we can work together as a team, to confront the complexities of the human existence. Using creative modalities as tools fosters connection with yourself and the world around you. I have worked in a variety of different settings with children, adolescents and adults. Throughout our work together, I will use Motivational Interviewing, CBT, mindfulness, DBT, strengths based, and solution focused approaches.
Throughout a therapeutic journey with me, we will work together to formulate goals, combat your challenges, leading to solution based practices. My belief is that humans hold all the answers to their current challenges within them, and the support of an unbiased professional can be helpful throughout interpersonal exploration.
Using creative modalities allows you to explore yourself and look inward. If a creative approach to treatment feels appropriate for you and your needs, you are certainly at the right place, and I hope to hear from you!
