Life can be hard – it brings us times of feeling alone, scared, sad, ashamed, and uncertain. This can hurt our self, our loved ones, and our ability to lead a fulfilling life. Therapy can provide us with more choices and more control when life becomes hard. In our work together, we will collaborate to create a safe, affirming, empowering space where you can heal and grow. For couples, this means aiding you to find a path to connection, wholeness, and joy. For individuals, it's about exploring the story of your life so far, and considering what would help you move towards the life you would like to be leading.
I draw on training in imago couples therapy, narrative, interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral, cognitive processing, and dialectical behavioral theory. I especially love to work with couples experiencing conflict, disconnection, and new life stages, and aiding individuals with mood, relationship, chronic conditions, trauma, identity, and life transitions.
Initiating therapy is a big choice. It is potentially scary, yet also expresses hope that there is another way. I am here to walk beside you, supporting you to take brave steps towards the life you want to be living.
