Lilit Arutyunyan, PsyD, Psychologist in Los Angeles
Life is about feeling connected, sharing in the joys and sorrows, and striving for something better, a better you. Therapy is a place where you can share and explore the challenges and achievements that make each of us an individual. I believe that forming a safe, non-judgmental relationship is fundamental to therapy and what guides the healing process. We work together in order to gain insight and learn healthy coping skills in managing challenges faced and the feelings associated with them. I believe that the most difficult job is working on ourselves but it is also the most rewarding.
My approach to therapy is one of empathy, collaboration and practicality. I integrate cognitive behavioral, family systems and psychodynamic treatments that are personalized to each client and their needs. I specialize in treating adolescents, adults, children and families coping with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, self-esteem and trauma.
I am a bilingual Armenian speaking psychologist who has extensive experience in working with adolescents, adults, children and families in various settings. I am very passionate about the work I do with my clients and the growth that develops; therapy is a brave step towards healing.
