I am a clinical social worker and therapist at the Washington Center for Women’s and Children’s Wellness in Bethesda, Maryland, caring for women and birthing people throughout Montgomery County and the Greater Washington area. I provide both tele-health and in-person appointments to clients. I am specialized in perinatal and women's mental health working with individuals who are struggling in their transition to parenthood, during pregnancy, fertility treatment, and in the postpartum period as well as with those who have experienced a pregnancy loss.
I work with clients to manage and overcome symptoms of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and stressors during this period of life. My goal in working with clients is to help them relieve suffering, build coping skills, and gain acceptance for the things we are not in control of, while focusing on the things we can change based on a client's values.
My style is compassionate, warm, and relational with a focus on the client and where they are at, while also considering the unique social and cultural factors that have shaped the client’s life. My experience of having lived in different countries both in Europe and Asia have given me a unique cultural perspective which informs my work and outlook on life.
