Living with anxiety and depression can be overwhelming. It may feel like fear is taking over your life and keeping you from some of the things you enjoy and value most. I prioritize creating a safe environment and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients. Our work together will emphasize your values, strengths, and goals to develop a collaborative plan to re-engage with life. I specialize in working with clients with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and the full spectrum of anxiety disorders, including BFRB's (trichotillomania/skin picking). I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
I use Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), ACT, Prolonged Exposure (for PTSD) and DBT to meet specific client needs. My practice includes techniques from Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. I love working with adults, adolescents, and older children and have a background in working with people with ADHD and learning differences.
I use evidence-based therapies in the context of a warm and caring setting to help you overcome anxieties that are getting in the way of relationships and keeping you from living your fullest life. Seeking out help can often be the biggest hurdle, so please reach out and we can meet to see if this feels like a good fit.
