I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and I have over 10 years of experience evaluating and treating individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders. I also have specialized training in evaluating and treating children and adolescents with learning disabilities, intellectual and executive functioning difficulties, developmental challenges, ADHD, behavioral difficulties, as well as neurological and genetic disorders, and anxiety, and mood disorders. I provide guidance for parents, and consultations with educators and schools regarding how to best facilitate the development of children. I also provide psycho-legal consultation in cases related to individuals with developmental disabilities that are involved in the legal system.
I obtained my M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver, and my B.S. in Psychology from UC San Diego. I completed an internship in Pediatric Neuropsychology at the University of New Mexico, and obtained post-doctoral training at JFK Partners at CU Denver.
I am originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and am fluent in Spanish. I am a member of the American Psychological Association, the Colorado Psychological Association, the Colorado Neuropsychological Society, the Colorado Assessment Society, and the Developmental Psychobiology Research Group of the University of Colorado, Denver School of Medicine.

Groups
Social Skills for Adolescent Girls with Autism
Kimel Psychological Services, a private practice in Denver, is proud to announce our Adolescent Social Skills Group for high functioning adolescent GIRLS (with verbal fluency) who are in middle and high school, with diagnoses on the autism spectrum and other related disorders (i.e., NVLD). There is a parent group that runs at the same time as the girls' group to learn ways to support the girls in the skills being taught.Please consider this great opportunity to work on important social and life skills and enjoy making friends. Group runs for 9 weeks, on Thursdays from 5-6:30PM.
