Many people I work with carry pain that doesn't have a clear story attached to it.
Not trauma that arrives with a named event, but the kind that accumulates in what was consistently absent — emotional needs that went unmet, an interior life that went largely unwitnessed, years of learning to function well while something quieter remained unaddressed.
This is terrain I am particularly drawn to. But trauma also arrives with weight and name — with events that are known, remembered, and still living in the body and in relationships long after they've passed.
In both, I'm drawn to the same thing: the patterns that form beneath the surface of a person's history — held in different parts of the self, and carried in the body. Trained at Teachers College, Columbia University, I draw from IFS, psychodynamic, and somatic frameworks, and bring particular attunement to how culture and language shape the inner life.
Sessions are conversational, but not unstructured. You don't need to know where to start. Many people begin with something like "I'm not sure what to say," and we go from there.
