I believe at some point in our lives most individuals will struggle with managing mental health symptoms. This could include anxiety, depression, mood regulation, psychosis, setting healthy boundaries, addiction, trauma, stress and anger management, etc. Therefore, it is normal for any individual to experience mental health symptoms. However, not all individuals cope with mental health symptoms in a healthy manner. As a LCMHC, LCASA, and NCC my goal is to assist my clients with developing healthy coping strategies by exploring negative thoughts that lead to irrational behaviors or teaching clients mindfulness techniques.
My specialties include mental health symptoms, addiction, and trauma. I help clients by encouraging them to explore their current thought process. I assist client with evaluating how their thoughts plays a major role in negative decisions, irrational behaviors, etc. Next I assist the client with reframing thoughts and exploring healthier ways to cope.
