This program is created for those persons with significant addiction issues who are struggling with abstinence. Those persons on Suboxone and Methadone are welcome. Initially program meets 2-3x/week depending on client need and then step down to 1x/week. All recommendations are individualized and individual therapy is available for all clients. This program is lead by clinicians with more than 20 years experience EACH.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a program created by Dr. Marsha Linehan. A skills group is just a part of the entire DBT approach which includes individual therapy, crisis management, etc. Our skills group is designed as an educational group for clients to learn and practice improved emotion management. The skills are divided into four basic sections - Distress Tolerance Skills, Mindfulness Skills, Emotion Regulation Skills and Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills. We have groups for adults and teenagers age 14 and above.

Lighthouse Counseling is offering a FREE adolescent support group for anyone between the ages of 14 – 18 who identify under the LGBTQ+ umbrella or who are questioning their sexuality or gender identity. We do need to meet with adolescents ahead of time to gather demographic information. Group is on Tuesdays from 6pm to 7:30pm "in person" at our offices at 420 Hudgins Rd.
