Do you or someone you love have a substance use problem? Have you been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder and don't know where to turn? Are you struggling with depression or anxiety and having a hard time getting through the day? Are you gay/ lesbian/ bisexual/ gender fluid/ transgender /* and having difficulties coming to terms with this identity? I have over 20 years of experience helping folks with these issues. My basic approach uses humor combined with evidence based approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral, GLBT Affirmative Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Enhancement, etc.
My specialties include anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, addictions, co-occurring disorders, and those issues related to affectional orientation or gender identity. I work with adults in an individual and/or group formats and most of my clients are in services for less than six months. Clients on suboxone or methadone are welcome!!!!!
My belief is that life struggles sometimes leave folks feeling overwhelmed and many have difficulty gaining perspective. Having a trained counselor who will walk the path with you, can be a comforting and more hopeful process. You don't have to deal with this alone!!!!

Groups
Modified Intensive Outpatient Program
This program is created for those persons with significant addiction issues who are struggling with abstinence. Those persons on Suboxone and Methadone are welcome. Initially program meets 2-3x/week depending on client need and then step down to 1x/week. All recommendations are individualized and individual therapy is available for all clients. This program is lead by clinicians with more than 20 years experience EACH.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a program created by Dr. Marsha Linehan. We offer a full program and an option for just the Skills group as long as clients have a primary therapist who is willing to coordinate with our staff. We have groups for adults and teenagers age 14 and above.
