Haley is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in marital and family relationship counseling and trauma therapy. Haley takes a holistic approach to mental health addressing the needs of the individual by considering the societal, relational, biological, spiritual, and emotional factors in a person's life. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in the state of Texas. I graduated with a MS in Counseling from Southern Methodist University. Throughout my career I have had experience in working with clients who have depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, dissociative identity disorder, schizoaffective disorder, gender/identity struggles, life adjustment stressors, grief, phobias, and PTSD/trauma. I am trained to treat clients with PTSD and trauma through Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM).

My approach is to empower clients through difficult times of their life, by teaching them the skills of self-compassion and vulnerability. Emotional pain and physical pain are processed in the same centers in the brain. This means emotional pain is real, tangible, and needs to be resolved or it will continue to impact how you feel and perceive the world. Trauma, negative belief symptoms, coping struggles, cumulative stress, substance abuse, relationship issues, family struggles, and past difficult memories can be addressed in therapy and there can be permanent healing. You do not have to continue to struggle and suffer from unwanted sensations and symptoms blocking you from living your life the way you want to live it. You can process symptoms and move past them.
