I am dedicated to the healing and growth processes of individual and family lives. I take a creative, personal strengths approach to this process. This means; I believe that you have the ability to take the steps of exploration and growth that is needed to allow you to more closely live the life that you desire. This process if often difficult and sometimes painful to take alone. I am here to help make those steps easier and help lead the way when you are unsure of which steps to take, or which order to take them.
I have an extensive background in using nature, the creative arts and play therapy processes. I take a cradle to grave approach that is holistic (all factors of life), psycho-educational (teach, give needed information to make healthy choices/decisions), and take an eclectic approach (change therapy to individual needs).
My practice is in a small cottage that is safe and far from the traditional hospital/clinic settings. I have a youth play/therapy room. I also have a therapy room that is more oriented toward adult clientele. I am in process of developing an outside therapy area for relaxation.
