Samantha Orrell is originally from Northern Virginia and moved to the Richmond area in 2019. Samantha received a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University, in Arlington, VA, and a Bachelors in Human Services from Old Dominion University, in Norfolk, VA. Samantha is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). In the counseling setting, Samantha strives to create an authentic and genuine connection with her clients.
She believes in the strength of the therapeutic alliance and works to meet clients where they are at, by utilizing a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rogerian, and Mindfulness.
