I work with men and women of all ages. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, stress management, grief and loss, trauma, and adjustment disorders/life transitions- those times when one's world has turned upside down, either a bit, or A Lot! I would like to spend some time getting to know you and developing a rapport with you, so you can feel safe and comfortable sharing your story and concerns
I believe in partnering with you to explore ways to help you discover changes and choices you can make in order to connect to your best and strongest self. My goal is to instill in you a sense of hope and belief that you can get better, by using solution-focused goals that give us a direction toward an improved self concept, and feelings of self-empowerment.
We'll explore issues that impact your mood, as well as the thought patterns that are counter-productive to improvement. Another focus: self-forgiveness over our mistakes is very important . We can learn from our past, but let's not make it a practice to stay stuck in the past. Let's figure out how to learn the lessons, let go of the past, and move forward!
