I believe that healing often occurs best in the context of a safe and trusting relationship between a client and therapist. As a psychotherapist, I strive to create a secure, caring, and collaborative relationship with each of my clients so that therapy is a place they feel fully seen, heard, understood, and respected. I work from an integrative and holistic perspective, meeting each client where they are and working collaboratively with clients to reach their own personal goals and to create lasting, meaningful change and healing in their lives.

After growing up in a family with substance abuse, I’ve been where you are. I know it’s scary to work through your anxiety, depression, and trauma. I'm here to tell you that there is a better way, and that it is possible to create a life worth living regardless of what has happened to you in the past.

I opened a private practice in Northern Liberties because I believe in changing the way we value mental health. Relationships are hard work and going to therapy should be productive. I offer my clients feedback and challenge them in ways that encourage growth, often with some levity and humor. I value knowing my clients as a person and prioritize gaining an understanding and appreciation of their perspective. I work together with my clients to identify negative patterns in their life and provide the opportunity to create new, healthy experiences.

I believe in self-reflection and helping others to become their authentic selves. When we know and understand ourselves, we can begin to regain control, have the types of relationships that we believe we deserve, and choose our own paths in life. My clinical interests include anxiety, trauma and PTSD, relationship concerns, LGBTQ issues, worry and perfectionism, and family discord. I am an integrative therapist that most often utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while incorporating other evidence-based treatment approaches.

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist that works collaboratively with individuals, couples and families. I have a special interest in working with adolescents and young adults going through transitional periods (i.e., school, new job, college, new relationship, etc.). My work with individuals who have felt unheard and invalidated has led me to conceptualize concerns related to eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and substance use as closely intertwined.
