Life Support Group is a grief support group for parents who have lost a child. As anyone who has lost a child knows, there is no loss like the loss of a child. It feels as if a part of you dies as well. Your heart stops beating and you gasp for air that doesn’t seem to be there. All of the crucial parts that make up who you are, shut down. You are in need of “Life Support”.
As someone who has been through the loss of a child, my wife and I know the struggle of dealing with such a tragic loss. As a couple, we went through years of group as well as individual counseling and know that you can not only survive this type of loss, but you can someday thrive from the worse tragedy that most people will ever face.
