No one told us what to do if life didn't work out the way we thought it was supposed to. Counseling can help to find the answers you're looking for and closer than you think.

I offer a comfortable space where you can be heard and understood. I can give you simple, practical tools to help put you at ease, achieve peace of mind, and get back in sync with life. A therapist is someone who uses a therapeutic model to formulate a treatment plan. I teach you the model so you understand how to treat yourself to feel better.

I use a holistic, Cognitive Behavioral approach in my practice. I begin and end each session with an introduction to mindfulness meditation called the Breathing Space (it can bring fast relief for people experiencing anxiety.) I teach everyone a simple formula I learned while working for the Department of Human Services which explains where emotions come from. I like to keep it super-simple.
