Dr. Reza Kazemi-Mohammadi, Ph.D. is a Licensed Counselor Professional (LPC). Reza received his Master's degree in Counseling Psychology at Southern Methodist University. He received his doctoral degree in Family Studies at Texas Woman's University. Reza works with individuals, families, adolescents, and couples. He strives to help people find meaning and motivation in life situations, using approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). He has advanced training in sexual therapy, and his areas of interest also include working with the LGBT community.

Our basic theory is that therapy can help a client deal with current issues -and works best when the client and therapist join together to work on these issues. He works with individual (children and Adults) in the area of depression, anxiety and general life difficulties. Dr. Abbassi has been in private practice for over 26 years. As a full Professor at local Institute of Higher Education, Dr. Abbassi teaches and provides supervision to Counseling Interns for both LPC & LMFT boards.
