I offer Telehealth and in person counseling sessions. I have 25 years of mental health and addiction experience working with children, teenagers, couples, adults, and families. I use a Family Systems approach to treatment including a variety of modalities with special focus on teaching the art of mindfulness called dialectical behavioral therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. I have successfully helped clients to resolve serious life problems, return to optimal functioning, meet personal and career goals, improve many intimate relationships, and to help persons to build new life skills necessary for self improvement.

There's little doubt that seeking assistance to deal with a life problem or even to expand upon our strengths can be a daunting task. Together we will explore your past history of experiences, relationships, and the social constructs that have led you to believe that your body is something that "needs to be fixed". Our work will be focused on healing those experiences, and applying lessons to your current life. In our work we will examine how your disordered eating or negative body image is impacting your life, relationships and goals. We will work to let go of the insecurities that are holding you back from living fully and showing up authentically.

Struggling with anxiety, PTSD or other issues related to trauma or challenging past experiences? I specialize in therapies, including EMDR, that can provide effective relief from the struggle. I am also skilled and experienced in supporting adults and their family members struggling with ADHD. If your challenges feel more intense or harder to ignore these days, you are not alone. Fortunately therapy is just as available to you now- I am experienced with remote, video-based counseling, and even hesitant clients have found these sessions just as effective as in-person therapy.

Often our most early relationships shape how we see ourselves, others, the world and our felt sense of confidence in how we might navigate it. "Stuckness" for my clients may look many different ways including, anxiety, stress, depression and/or relationship distress. Esther is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Masters degree in Counseling with a youth and child specialization, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. As a counselor, Esther is committed to serving clients by partnering with them in working toward healthy change, development, and growth. Her areas of concentration include PTSD, play therapy, neurofeedback therapy, and parent skills training. She has concentrated training in EMDR, brainspotting, healing from traumatic brain injury and post concussion symptoms. Peak performance training is also offered.

I'm a Counselor, Supervisor, and Consultant who provides therapy for adolescents and adults including individual, couples, and families. I also offer clinical supervision services and high performance counseling/coaching.
