Life can be extremely difficult to navigate at times, especially when going through major life transitions. My mission over the last 26 years and in developing and opening Comprehensive Counseling Services, LLC is to be able to provide counseling in a way that will reach as many individuals in need. I have over 22 years of experience with the 12 - Step approach to recovery. My life experience has given me empathy for those suffering with addiction. I have a passion to help others in recovery beyond the traditional methods. I realize that what may work well for some, may not work well for all. A veteran of the United States Air Force and spent 20 years serving my country. During that time I was deployed to support Operation Enduring Freedom. I am very passionate concerning Veteran's issues and I hope that I can continue to help those who struggle with addiction.

Psychoeducational testing can empower learners, parents, teachers and other individuals to make informed decisions by identifying and examining academic, cognitive, behavioral and social/emotional strengths and weaknesses. I have 21 years experience in assessing individuals to identify learning disabilities, ADHD, intellectual disorders and intellectual giftedness and offering research-based recommendations for appropriate instruction and interventions. For high school, college students, and other individuals, I provide assessments to determine the need for accommodations on high stakes tests, in the classroom or in the work place. I also offer ADHD Coaching to adults who are interested in developing better organizational and goal-setting skills.

As a sports psychologist, I have a unique practice in that I specialize in working with athletes who have the desire to take their game to the next level. Being a competitive athlete helps me relate to other competitive people in sports or business. My primary focus is on confidence building and the elimination of performance anxiety. I use a 3 tiered approach to training: Perspective Training, Mental Skills Training, and Applied Settings (if applicable at a sporting location). I am the only professional to offer that kind of travel service.
