With all my clients, I start by trying to create a completely safe, private, confidential, accepting, non-judgmental, valuing, understanding, and empowering relationship. I believe that these components alone can often be enough to bring the changes you seek to make in your life. Whatever you are struggling with, I strive to meet you where you are, understand your experience, and help you achieve your goals for change. My clients are frequently experiencing depression, anxiety, or relationship difficulties, and it is my goal to work with them to uncover and heal the underlying driving factors of those symptoms.

I am a Certified Pastoral Counselor who works with individuals struggling with everyday life issues. Many times we may find ourselves experiencing anger, depression or anxiety. We all have these emotions from time to time. They do not need to control our lives. Maybe your journey is without purpose or direction. We have all been there. Life is an ocean voyage; however, the seas are not always calm. When the storms rage, we are tossed back and forth, the skies get dark, the ground seems unstable beneath us and it seems the storm will never end. This can create sea sickness and the belief that we could capsize at any time. When we fear the storms of life are going to overtake us, it is nice to have someone to partner with on the journey who can help us navigate through the storm to reach calm seas again.

I am a Christian Counselor & Therapist, who works with not only you and your spouse, but with your whole family. Coming to a therapist is an enlightening experience, it can make a once chaotic and out of control life become peaceful and have meaning. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy as my main methods for therapy; however, I draw from other therapy types to give my clients the best therapeutic experience. Hi! My name is Sara Brisbois and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I counsel using an integrative and interpersonal approach.
