People often come to therapy when life feels overwhelming; when anxiety, depression, trauma/stress, or relationship challenges get in the way and familiar coping strategies no longer work. My ideal clients are thoughtful, self-aware individuals who want more than symptom relief. They want to understand themselves more fully, feel more grounded and connected in their relationships, and find a different way of moving through the world.
I incorporate approaches such as Brainspotting, sand play, expressive arts, and nature-informed therapy, which are especially helpful when experiences are difficult to put into words. Together, we slow things down, notice what’s happening in the present moment, and build greater insight, resilience, and ease in how you relate to yourself and others.
It's never too late for a new beginning. Therapy is my second career, and stepping into this work after raising two adult children has given me a deep appreciation for fresh starts, second chances, and the courage it takes to begin again. I know from experience that healing and reinvention can happen at any age or life stage.
