Liberation-Based Therapy is psychotherapeutic group practice supports mental health and wellness through the lens of liberation-based healing practices. The work offered is emotionally-focused, culturally affirming with a strengths-based perspective. We work with individuals, couples, families and groups in New York and New Jersey.
We serve everyone with a focus on BIPOC, immigrant communities / stories, LGBTQIA2S+/GNB and intimate partnerships, including integrated families and open relationship structures.
Each therapist is trained using a creative mix of therapeutic practices where you are centered. Wherever you are on your path, your therapist will approach you with curiosity and in the spirit of compassionate collaboration. By acknowledging that systemic failures are not personal ones, liberation and healing comes through a deep integration of all of you.
