I have worked with a variety of clients affected by trauma, perinatal mood/anxiety disorders, addiction, and eating disorders. What each of them has taught me is that recovery is possible and it's different for everyone. I focus on collaborative, client-centered therapy to treat the whole person utilizing EMDR, CBT, and DBT resources to assist my clients in developing insight and understanding the root of behavioral patterns in their lives. Humor, although underrated, is often woven into the therapeutic process!
I am a certified EMDR therapist and offer clinical consultation to other therapists. I have worked in a variety of levels of care including emergency departments, residential and outpatient centers. Additionally, I have post-Master's training in EMDR and CBT as well as ongoing clinical training in postpartum mood and anxiety disorders.
