As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have had the privilege of helping strong individuals on their journey to live their best life. Many have been coping with substance abuse, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, obsessive-compulsive tendencies, panic attacks, chronic pain, co-occuring disorders, low self-worth, codependency and phobias. I have a background facilitating group therapy sessions for adults in recovery and lead family and couples sessions as well as individual counseling sessions.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked with multidisciplinary treatment teams, I found the following modalities to be most effective: Gestalt Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, CBT, aspects of DBT, Reality Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I have five years of experience facilitating Group, Individual and Family sessions.
