My fundamental belief about human beings is that we are inherently good. We are wired for meaningful connection and capable of growing and learning new things at any age. I believe that clients are the experts on their own lives and that my role as a counselor is to support and empower them to navigate challenges, uncover strengths, and foster personal growth. I strive to create a safe environment where learning and change can occur authentically; where unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior can be understood as faulty, not bad or wrong, and can be safely challenged and shifted.

My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, infertility, grief, loss, and parenting. I use a multi-disciplinary approach which draws primarily from psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral theories. I view myself and my clients through a holistic lens which appreciates the many variables which impact our lives and relationships.

I consider it an honor to assist clients in better understanding themselves and where they are in their readiness for change. Although it is often in times of struggle that an individual seeks counseling, I view no one as "broken" or needing "to be fixed"; only needing time, space, connection, and support.
