I strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment in which you feel comfortable putting that performance aside. I believe that we begin to heal through relationships. My hope, for our therapeutic relationship, is that you feel safe to be honest, authentic, and vulnerable about whatever your life and/or relationship looks like right now, while together, we reflect on what may have led you here.
With individuals, I use a psychodynamic approach to explore how past experiences, relationships, and the unconscious shapes one's present reality. With couples, I am certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which focuses on understanding the negative cycle that has become a couple's enemy and the pain each person experiences to create a stronger bond.
