About
Reaching out for help takes strength and courage. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe and supportive environment for those working toward a life of positive growth and change. Life is filled with uncertainties, and uncertainties can bring fear. My clients come to me when they're feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or struggling with their relationship with food and body image. After our work together, my clients are able to adequately use coping skills to remain present, navigate intrusive thoughts, and find peace with food, as well as with their body.
I'm passionate about working through an empathetic lens in order to tailor each person’s treatment to their own unique needs. Addiction is an issue we face in our society. My clients come to me when they're feeling defeated and looking for hope. I am able to provide support, validation, and strategies to the individual suffering as well as their families.
I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. John’s University. I am also a credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC). The best next step to take now is to schedule a consultation with me to ensure we are the right fit.
