About
Hi there! Although I was raised in Birmingham, Michigan, after graduating high school, I spent 6 years living in Hawai'i. During this time, I completed my undergraduate studies in Psychology and Chemistry, and my Master of Arts program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Dayspring Vision Counseling provides a comfortable and safe setting for individuals to receive therapeutic support for their everyday emotional, behavioral and mental health needs. I have assisted individuals experiencing Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Vocational Stress, and other common stressors. I engage individuals in a welcoming, supportive, and empathic manner.
Demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity is important while treating individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds. Having traveled extensively to areas including Australia, Brazil, Japan, Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, England, Italy, the Caribbean and Mexico, I have been exposed to and experienced a variety of cultures.
Therapy can be a wonderful process to provide you with tools to help you navigate life, and not feel alone while doing so. I provide individual, couple, and family psychotherapy and support services to children, adolescents and adults. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions and to schedule your intake session.
