About
Does this sound familiar? “I can’t do this. I'll fail. I’m an awful person. I’ll never be good enough. I'm hopeless.” Thoughts like these are powerful and very common for anyone experiencing anxiety. Your thoughts and emotions are valid, but hearing these messages over and over again in your head can take a toll on your well-being. I aim to help my clients find new ways to cope with intrusive, negative thoughts that seem impossible to control. Negative thoughts have a source which is usually a deep, negative belief about the self. I assist my clients realize their strengths and create a new, more positive belief about themselves.
As your therapist, I want to support you and provide an accepting space for you to cope with difficult emotions. My approach integrates CBT, mindfulness, and holistic methods. I have provided individual and family therapy for a variety of issues, but my specialties include anxiety, substance abuse, trauma, and low self-esteem.
My goal is to make therapy accessible to my clients by providing virtual therapy to Florida residents. To set up a free phone consultation please call 305-395-2023 or email me at lia.damiani-tinney@in-depth-wellness.com.
