Our Team
With over 16 years working in the mental health field, SC Nealy has their second Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is the Clinical Director at a group therapy practice. With a person-centered, attachment informed, emotion-focused approach aimed at finding solutions, healing trauma, building resilience, improving interpersonal relationships, connecting the mind and body, and working through triggers and past pain, SC wants their clients to feel heard, understood, and valued in the therapeutic space and in their lives. SC also wrote 30+ novels, and their non-fiction book "Healing Sacred Wounds" releases in 2026.

Jessie Wedell (she/her) is passionate about working with individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds and identities who may face unique challenges with those intersections. With a strong foundation in social science, she recognizes the sociocultural influences that impact mental health. She also has an extensive background in dance and yoga and strongly believes in somatic interventions as a form of trauma recovery and to build a healthy connection with ones body. Her goal is to offer a validating space to guide clients through their journeys of healing, helping them reclaim their strength, resilience, and hope for the future.

Daniel Choppa, LGPC (he/him) is a licensed graduate professional counselor based in Washington, D.C. and Virginia who is dedicated to providing affirming, trauma-informed care for individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds and identities. Daniel’s goal is to collaborate with his clients to seek clarity, connection, and a safe space to be seen and understood within the therapy room. With a foundation rooted in extensive education, deep empathy, and genuine curiosity, Daniel creates a warm and collaborative therapeutic environment—especially for LGBTQIA2S+ clients, trauma survivors (complex, chronic, and acute), and more.

With over 12 years in healthcare, Roland utilizes the relationship between the client and therapist to facilitate forward growth and healing, with the goal of becoming the best version of themselves. Roland uses a variety of therapeutic approaches, including experiential and reality-based approaches to highlight implementing changes in the here & now. As a big proponent of creating connections, Roland makes the therapy setting conversational and comfortable to promote safety and collaboration in the therapeutic space for people of all orientations and genders.

Jasmin identifies as a Black queer woman and believes that it is important to honor her identity alongside clients, while recognizing how those identities interact with systems of power and oppression throughout our country. She particularly loves working with young adults exploring their identities, learning emotional regulation, and working on improving interpersonal relationships.

He received his Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Tulane University in 2022, and has since served clients with a unique blend of humor, empathy, mindfulness, and clinical technique.
