Hello! My name is Lezah Pope, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about supporting people on their healing journeys. Traumatic life experiences can leave lasting wounds, and I believe that these points of pain can be transformed into strength and resilience. It is my commitment to be an ally alongside those who are seeking to integrate their pasts so that the present and future can feel meaningful and fulfilling.
I use a holistic approach that incorporates evidence-based treatment modalities to heal trauma on the level of the mind, body, and spirit. Some of these techniques are EMDR, IFS, ACT, mindfulness, and somatic psychotherapy.
In our first session, I am focused on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy, while also working to build a safe and supportive therapeutic space. The relationship you have with your therapist is one of the most important aspects of this work, and so helping you to feel comfortable and safe with me is my primary goal at the beginning of our work.
