I am an EMDR and nature-based therapist who specializes in helping children and adults express their most authentic, empowered Self through mindfulness, movement and playful connection. I've seen clients create ease and familiarity within their own body and truly heal from trauma by rewriting old stories. Together we can clarify, name and claim your natural wants and needs while learning to set clear, organic boundaries and cultivate the skills necessary to create inspiring relationships with family, friends, lovers, colleagues and Self. I work at a number of locations including Boulder, Lakewood, Denver, Lyons and Golden.
Secure relationships form the container within which healing is possible. My clinical style is informed by Gestalt, an approach focused on cultivating healthy connections with Self, others, animals and the natural world. Working with me, you will meet many animal allies including horses and my sweet dog Maia - my beloved companion and professional colleague.
My clinical approach is rooted in my own experience of trauma and recovery. Since childhood, I have engaged with animals, nature, yoga, meditation, transcendental states and a wide spectrum of therapeutic techniques to heal my wounds. Beyond any training this experience is the ultimate source of my expertise as I guide clients towards their own Self-healing.
