Taking the first step toward seeking support can feel overwhelming. My goal is to offer a safe, inclusive, and affirming space where clients feel empowered to take an active role in their mental health journey. I work with individuals and couples facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns. My approach is collaborative and personalized, grounded in each client’s or couple’s unique experiences and goals. I have a special passion for supporting teens, adults, and couples as they navigate life’s complexities and work toward healing and growth.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Old Dominion University. My professional background includes working with diverse populations, including survivors of sexual and interpersonal violence. I am trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and am currently pursuing advanced trauma training.
My counseling style is compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental. I draw from evidence-based, trauma-informed, and strengths-based practices—blending cognitive therapies and personalized strategies to meet each client’s needs. Together, we create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported, fostering resilience and healthier ways of living.
