Making the decision to start therapy can be a difficult and intimidating process, and I create a warm environment to help ease into the counseling journey. I believe that the client is the expert in their own life, and my role as a counselor is to be a helper, not an expert. Through identifying patterns of thoughts and behavior as well as using therapeutic tools and strategies, my clients can learn to cope with the challenges they may face. My counseling approach is defined as eclectic, individualizing my approach with each unique person.
I enjoy working with a variety of clients, primarily children, adolescents, and young adults. I have experience dealing with presenting issues including: adjustment issues, depression, anxiety, OCD, phobias, trauma, children of divorce, LGBT+ issues, and career counseling.
